In addition to personal contact with our president and others who will be part of a support team at School of Pastoral Care to assist you in planning for your school, the following resources are available to your planning team.  The resources will remain available from the beginning of your contact with SPC throughout the planning process and completion of your school.   

Brochure Creation Service

At your request, SPC will be happy to create a professional brochure for your school that will include the SPC logo, registration form, photo and biography of speakers, location and date of your event, your contact persons, and all other details you need.

 

News Release Service  

A News Release will be created specifically for your school and will include a photo of one of the leaders.  The news release will be provided in camera-ready format for emailing to newspapers.  SPC will create and send the release to your team to forward to local editors, radio and TV stations, or SPC will email directly to them at your request.  Editors will often use news releases to help fill vacant space in their paper and camera-ready material makes it easy for them to decide to use your news item.  A news release that gets published means free advertising for your event.

1. Pre-written church bulletin announcements:  One short and one slightly longer announcement for inserting into church bulletins.  Print off or download to floppy disc and give to your church secretary, or give her your web resource page address for easy copy and paste to the bulletin.   

2. Poster - size 8.5 x 11" designed specifically for your school - ready to print from your computer and use

5. Photos and SPC logo used in your brochure and poster in jpeg files - camera-ready format for use by your commercial printing company if needed

6. School of Pastoral Care General Brochure - ready to print to your computer for sharing with others who may be interested in planning a school

12. News Release for your event - camera-ready with photo to give to your newspaper (SPC will forward directly to you or at your request directly to your newspaper editors and radio stations.

13. Your school's website - will include a map with directions to your school location, all details regarding your event.  Including your school's website address on all advertising and brochures will provide an additional way to information visitors more fully about your event, about the School of Pastoral Care ministry, and will encourage higher registration for your school.

14. Online registration will be available for website visitors to register immediately for your school.

15. Expanded Payment Services:  Some schools may accept credit card payment for registration fees via Paypal, and within Canada others may accept payment via email.  SPC will provide how-to assistance for every planning team who desires to offer expanded payment services.  Details of payment methods will appear on each school's webpage giving more information and links to secure Paypal and bank websites.

If you wish to have larger quantities printed by your local printing company, invite them to download the following files, or for assistance they are welcome to email the webmaster and he will be glad to forward files and work with your printer.

You may wish to promote the School of Pastoral Care at conferences and other events using one or more of the promotional items shown above.   If you choose to distribute several or all 5 pieces, it is recommended they be inserted into an envelope size 9" x  6" with the following logo printed on the envelope, or on 4" x  4" labels affixed to the front of the envelope:
